Curious thing you mentioned sanko and ämpäri. I (and everyone I know) would use ämpäri for both cleaning and picking berries. Sanko:sangon:sankoon (some dialects: sankko:sankon:sankkoon) is generally bigger than ämpäri, but not necessarily. But sanko has a rougher, possibly even a bit rustic, feel to it, so sanko is something you'd find in saunas and mökkis. But they could just as well be ämpäri.

Marjasanko is not impossible, it just sounds like a really big marjaämpäri, and indeed, googling the word all the results seem to point to a ämpäri larger than 9 litres; a two-litre ämpäri could barely be called a marjasanko. :)

Hello! What about dusty / to clean dust? I've been recently wondering how to say that properly in Finnish.

Pyyhkiä pölyjä. = To wipe the dust

Isn't "silittää" one of those verbs that can trip learners up in a quite hilarious way? If I remember correctly, "silitän kissaa" refers to petting a cat, while "silitän kissan" means taking a clothes iron to the poor animal.
