I created a set of flash cards in Quizlet for my beginner's students, and I thought I might share them here, too. I am not the person reading the cards aloud, in case you wonder. :)
Update: Here's a link to all the Quizlet sets that I've created. I've also tried Memrise, but I like Quizlet better because of the games.

I started my own quizlet flashcards using teach yourself , and I started using quizlet with my pupils this year too: I teach english in France (so I'm very curious about your "suomea ja ranskaa" set.) I've only just started learning finnish and I really can't find anything other than assimil to go from FRENCH to finnish. Frustrating sometimes. How lucky blogs like yours exist that clear out misunderstandings and clarify meanings. ^^

DeleteI gave Memrise a look, and I love it. A mixture of voc-lab (keep revising "old" vocabulary) and quizlet (make your own flashcards). Love it love it love it! Kiitos paljon!

DeleteLearning new words have always been challenging for students of all age groups due to its abstract nature. Infinite ways are searched by students to grasp new words and retain in the memory forever. The solution to this issue is only resolved by www.vocabmonk.com. To understand how? Be connected to it.
