How to use the Finnish word 'kova'

Kova is usually hard. Depending on what you're describing, it can also mean other things.

1. Tämä patja on liian kova.
2. Mikä tuo kova ääni oli? 
3. Mulla on kova nälkä.
4. Olipa se kova tyyppi! 
5. Se oli kova pettymys. 
6. Kova juttu! 
7. Älä mene niin kovaa! 
8. Anteeksi, mutta teidän musiikki on vähän liian kovalla. 
9. Onko sinulla vatsa kovalla? 
10. Mä en ole kovin hyvä tässä. - I'm not very good at that. 

Here are the translations:

1. Tämä patja on liian kova. - This mattress is too hard.
2. Mikä tuo kova ääni oli? - What was that loud noise?
3. Mulla on kova nälkä. - I'm super hungry. 
4. Olipa se kova tyyppi! - Wasn't that a tought guy!
5. Se oli kova pettymys. - It was a huge disappointment.
6. Kova juttu! - Cool thing!
7. Älä mene niin kovaa! - Don't go so fast.
8. Anteeksi, mutta teidän musiikki on vähän liian kovalla. - Excuse me,  but your music is a bit too loud.
9. Onko sinulla vatsa kovalla? - Are you constipated?
10. Mä en ole kovin hyvä tässä. - I'm not very good at that. (In a positive sentence, very is todella or tosi. )
