Talking about sticks in Finnish

So many Finnish words for different sticks! Do you know these ones?

  1. keppi
  2. oksa
  3. patukka
  4. puikko
  5. pötkö
  6. risu
  7. tikku

Here are the translations: 

  1. keppi = a stick 
  2. oksa = a stick, a tree branch 
  3. patukka = a stick, a bar
  4. puikko = a stick, can be used for many different purposes.
  5. pötkö = a stick, often made of some kind of paste
  6. risu = a dry twig 
  7. tikku = a spliter, a sliver, a stick
