Miksi ja milloin aloitit Finking Cap Clubin? Why and how did you start Finking Cap Club?
- Aloitin Finking Cap Clubin vuonna 2019. Olin jo opettanut yksityisoppilaita verkossa ja pyörittänyt muutamia verkkokursseja. Halusin tehdä enemmänkin jotain luovaa. Siitä se alkoi!
- I launched the Finking Cap Club in 2019. I had already been teaching private students and running a few online courses. I wanted to continue doing something creative. That’s how it started!

What is your typical work day or work week like?
- Minulla on yleensä pari päivää viikossa, jotka omistan sisällön suunnittelulle ja tuottamiselle. Paljon äänittämistä, videoiden editoimista, kirjoittamista ja piirtämistäkin. Opetan joitakin yksityisoppilaita, ja joskus meillä on tapaamisia Clubin jäsenten kanssa Zoomissa.
- I usually have a couple of days per week that I dedicate to content planning and creation. A lot of recording, video editing, writing and drawing, too. I have a few private students, and sometimes we meet up with the Finking Cap Club members on Zoom.

- Heitä on monenlaisia! Usein jäsenet ovat jo käyneet vähintään alkeiskurssin tai opiskelleet esimerkiksi Suomen Mestari 1 -kirjaa, ja he etsivät lisämateriaalia, jotta voivat oppia itsenäisesti enemmän. On tosi paljon ihmisiä, jotka asuvat Suomessa tai aikovat muuttaa tänne. On myös jäseniä, jotka asuvat maailman toisella puolen, mutta joiden sukujuuret ovat Suomessa. Ja moni tykkää opiskella suomea yksinkertaisesti siksi, että se on niin erilainen kieli kuin heidän äidinkielensä.
- There are so many different types of members! Often I see people who have taken a beginner course before or studied Suomen Mestari 1 and they’re looking for extra content to learn more on their own. There are a lot of people who live in Finland or those who are planning to move here. There are also members who live on the other side of the world but who have Finnish roots. And many like to learn Finnish simply because it’s so different from their own mother tongue.
